Veasna Hoy
Attorney
Ms. Hoy has a keen understanding of how difficult the business world can be for someone with a diverse background or who speaks English as a second language. She takes pride in being able to provide legal services to clients who may otherwise be dismayed from seeking justice out of confusion or fear of our complex legal system. Ms. Hoy is able to bridge the gap of cultural differences by relating her experiences and background to all of her clients. She is proud of her Cambodian heritage and was the first in her family to attend college, graduate school, and then law school.

Ms. Hoy is a strong advocate for underserved voices and has built her career on creating successful policy strategies for workforce development and achieving racial equity in institutions and systems. As a business owner, DEI consultant, and attorney, Ms. Hoy understands entrepreneurial creativity and ambition, and recognizes the individual sacrifices clients take to achieve their dream. It is through this lens that she is able build strong relationships with her clients and help them to reach their business goals.

Ms. Hoy’s practice focuses primarily on business formations, drafting and negotiating business contracts and handling controversies with the IRS. She is also experienced in successfully handling suits and settlements in personal injury and employment cases. Ms. Hoy is admitted to practice in federal court, western district.
